Fosters outlines twenty years with rewards Food

Fosters Market celebrates the 20th year this week. And to celebrate, owners Sara Foster is rewarding her customers.

Tomorrow, take your own mop to the Durham or Chapel Hill store and embrace free coffee. On Friday, staffers will give a free cookie to any one wearing a Fosters T-shirt or hat. Their e-mail summary to business says "the older, the better."

Also Thursday, the Durham place is you do the On the Porch grill-out from 5 to 8 p.m. The specials embody herb pink basted diversion bens, rosemary and fig thick-cut pig chops, roasted garlic and champagne immature beans and an apple pecan churned immature salad. Plus there will be eyeglasses of booze for $3 and breeze beers for $2.

Beer cooking at Humble Pie

Raleighs Humble Pie is hosting a drink cooking featuring ales from Carolina Brewing Co. on Sunday.

It costs $50 per chairman for a four-course dish interconnected with the Holly Springs brewerys beers. The feasting starts at 6 p.m. The menu includes arugula salad, wild fungus vol-au-vent, parched sea scallops and braised short ribs, and for dessert: a drink boyant with housemade chocolate coffee ice cream.
